There’s no substitute for the immediate feedback of someone observing you while you play. With more than 25 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Michigan, Ben will help you improve your abilities and understanding of music in a way that is customized to your abilities and interests. 

Learning music does things for your body and mind that nothing else can do. It activates multiple parts of your brain, pushes your limits of what you think you can do, and offers opportunities of all sorts. Invest in yourself, and learn more about something you enjoy!

In Person and Virtual Lesson Prices:
– $30 per half-hour
– $60 per hour
– Virtual lessons can take place with Zoom, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Skype, or What’s App.
– For in person lessons that happen someplace other than Ben’s home studio in Oak Park, add $15 per 15 minutes of one-way travel time in Metro Detroit. (1-15 minute trip for me to get to you = $15 total travel charge, 16-30 minute trip for me to get to you = $30 total travel charge, etc.)

Lesson Policies:
– Lessons are usually scheduled for the same day(s) and time(s) each week.
– Lessons are charged one month at a time, with payment due at the first lesson of each month.
– Lessons that are cancelled with a 24-hour notice can be rescheduled or credited to the following month.
– Lessons that are cancelled without a 24-hour notice cannot be rescheduled or credited to the next month, and will be charged as normal.
– Any lesson credit remaining if lessons are permanently cancelled will be returned.
– References available upon request.
